The WWE RAW match starring Jey Uso on December 4th will be particularly significant.
Uso will go up against Seth Rollins on Monday night for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Jey posted on Instagram ahead of the game to say he was dedicating it to Umaga, who died exactly 14 years ago today. “December 4th, this one is for you,” Uso added.
Roman Reigns and The Usos were among the Anoaʻi family members who included Umaga, whose true name was Edward Smith Fatu. Umaga’s nephews are Jimmy, Jey, and Solo Sikoa Uso. On December 4, 2009, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion departed from this life. It was eventually discovered that he died from a deadly heart attack, acute poisoning, and liver failure.
The Usos celebrate their 14-year WWE tenure on December 4.
